Islands in the Stream

One night in a dream, I saw islands
In a silver stream
Floating alone
Ancient, but always changing
Were they connected at one time?
Were they trying to become one again?
Like molecules dancing in space
Lonely bits and pieces moving
Whorls become worlds
All things morph into other things
Faster than it ever was
Faster than it ever was
